INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Here I am showing a small part of my Indian Head Massage. The many benefits of this massage can really release tension out of the mind and the shoulders. I work with different pressure points along the head, not only can the treatment release built up toxins, but can also reduce migraines. It is also great to reduce headaches through shoulder tension. We all have many lymph nodes in the neck which connect up to the head; so, if this was blocked due to so much tension it is more likely it will cause throbbing in the head. To prevent headaches and migraines from happening is to manipulate pressure points in the shoulders. You really redeem amazing benefits from the treatment; and to top it off, the treatment includes a face massage which focuses on temples, sinus and congestion relief.
I use opening stretches in deep tissue massages to help release tension around the muscles, joints and ligaments. Here I am showing a chest and shoulder stretch and I have put a rolled up towel and placed it underneath the shoulder blades. I find that using a rolled up towel increases the intensity and helps a compressed chest, which is formed by hunching the shoulders often. I enjoy using stretches in my massages to help improve mobility and circulation in areas that have a lot of tension. Deep breathing, not only puts you into a deep relaxation, but it can also help you stretch the muscles further.
